Some 12 personnel from the Cakung Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit (SDA), East Jakarta, deployed to construct a channel crossing on Jalan Jati Raya, RT 01/14, Pulo Gebang Urban Village.

"This work has been underway since September 24, 2025, and is targeted for completion in the upcoming October 2025," said Cakung Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Dian Nur Cahyono, Friday (9/26).
He explained, the crossing channel is being built using a U-ditch measuring 60x60x120 centimeters.

According to him, the previous channel conditions experienced many landslides, leading to flooding due to blockages.
The crossing channel construction received appreciation from one of the locals, Lukman (41).
